Fundamentos contextuales de la orientación educativa

Resumen

Esta investigación de tipo documental, tiene como finalidad estudiar los contextos de origen y evolución de la Orientación Educativa tanto en Europa como en América, específicamente en Estados Unidos y Venezuela. Además se analizan las bases pedagógicas que fundamentan la organización educativa, en las que se inserta la práctica orientadora. Finalmente, se presenta una reflexión sobre los procesos históricos y situacionales que han influido en el desarrollo de nuevos modelos, roles e investigaciones en este campo.

CONTEXTUAL BASIS OF EDUCATIONAL GUIDANCE

ABSTRACT

This article of documental type intends to study the contexts that explain the evolution of the Educational Orientation. This leads to the need for examining the historical and situational issues involved. In this sense, this presentation will deal initially with the origin and evolution of Educational Orientation in Europe, in the United States, as well as in Venezuela. The pedagogical origin underlying the educative organization, which includes the counseling practice, is studied. Finally, a reflection about the historical and contextual processes which have influenced the development of new models, roles and research in this area is made.
